The students of NavSadhana Kala Kendra (NSKK) were divided into four groups. The names of the group are: 1. Bhatkhande Group, 2. Digamber Group, 3. Rukmini Group and 4. Tyagraj Group. In view of Independence day celebration a patriotic competition was held at Milan Hall on August 14, 2019 at 10.30a.m. The principal and the staff members were present for the same. Mr. GovindVerma welcomed the principal, vice principal, and all the staff and students of the College. He further explained the purpose, procedure, rules and regulations of the competition. The judges for the competition were Dr. B.P. Tiwari, Mr.Kamini Mohan and Mr. Robin, who were also welcomed heartily. A lot of effort was taken by the group leaders to decide the order or sequence of the competition. The four groups presented the patriotic songs in a creative and innovative manner. The principal appreciated the students for their creative and innovative method of composing lyrics and music and participating in the competition with enthusiasm and eagerness.
He also declared the result of the competition: Rukmani group bagged the first prize and Tyagraj group and Bhatkhande group won the second and third prizes respectively. There were 14 members from each group who participated in the competition. First Prize was won by the following members of the Rukmani Group: Shreya, Luxmi, Vijai, Nishi, Jasmin, Kajal, Nisha, Pratibha and Abhishek. Second Prize winners were of Tyagaraja Group: Vikas, Deepak, Vinod, Manish, Aditi, Teresa, Anjana, Philomina, Anjela, Ancy. Third Prize was won by the members of Bhatkhande Group: Arnit, Rose, Priya, Anisha, Anuska, Mohit, Ritvik, Ranjeet, Prakash, and Suchanta. Sr. Rosely, Vice Principal of the College thanked all for the success of the day’s programme. It was a mesmerizing experience to listen to young artists singing patriotic songs with enthusiasm and high spirit. The competition invoked feeling of Patriotism among each one present there. The contestants performed melodious songs, keeping judges and audience enthralled.
