On 17 July 2019 The inauguration of the Academic year began with the Holy Eucharist presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Eugene Joseph, the Bishop of Varanasi, concelebrated by Fr. Wilfred Moras the Director of NavSadhana and Fr. Justy. The B.A II year students of Bharatnatyam performed the Entrance Dance and led the Celebrant to the Altar. The Students performed the MahaArti at Doxology prayerfully and led all in a prayerful mood.

At 08.30 a.m. the Chief Guest Bishop Eugene Joseph, the Chairman of Kala Kendra and Rev. Fr. Wilfred Moras, were welcomed by the students with a traditional aarti. The Hindustani Music students presented a piece of classical music and the II year B.A Bharatnatyam students performed welcome dance and extended a grand welcome to all. Mr. B.P. Tiwari wished all the students good luck. The mesmerizing Peacock folk dance of Ist year Bahratnatyam students at the end of the programme added beauty to the programme. Dr. Ramsudhar Singh delivered the message stating that the students are in a special college and special place with unique milieu. They are all unique. Music and Dance make all, a part of the divine and good human beings. Hence, develop your talents and be in communion with God and humans.

In his Address the Chief Guest, Bishop Eugene Joseph told the students that we all have a Lamb or Lion inside us. It is important is that we need to strike a balance between both. He exhorted the students to strike a balance between dominant and humble qualities. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Prakash. Everyone was served snacks and tea. Ms. Supriya and Vikas compared the programme.
