Around 20 students of the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, Leuven University, Belgium under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Bert Broeckaert and Fr. Amal raj arrived at Nav Sadhana on Jan. 26, 2018 to have personal experience and insight into the Indian religions and culture as well as to have contact with Indian people. They had lectures on Hinduism, Bhuddhism and Jainism as practiced by the people of Varanasi. They also had lectures on Christianity, how the Church works amidst the various religious people in the diocese of Varanasi. They had visit to the various temples in Varanasi and Ganga Ghats, Sarnath Temple and other historical sites. They visited the Nav Vani School and St. Mary’s Hospital as well as DARE institution for the street children. Some days they had yoga and dance classes. They witnessed the cultural programme of the Nav Sadhana Kala Kendra. The Indian music, dance and art fascinated them. They were grateful to the Director, staff and students of Nav Sadhana for their amity and comity, fellowship and friendship. They left Nav Sadhana for Delhi for further exploration of India.
