Realizing the significance of Jubilee celebration in the life of persons as committed people of God and the importance of competition in the students’ life, the staff of the college proposed that both could be combined on the same day, as it would not overburden the students. Hence, the Group Dance Competition and the Religious Silver Jubilee of Sr. Manjula, FSAG and Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee of Rev.Fr. Amalraj, who replaced her for more than a month, as she went for Jubilee preparation course, were fixed in the Milan Hall on March 11, 2017 at 11.00 a.m. It began with the prayer song under the guidance of Dr.B.P.Tiwari followed by welcome speech and felicitation by Dr.Fr.V.Sebastian. The guidelines for the competition were enumerated by Sir Govind Verma followed by sequence of dances based on the lot taken by the leaders of the four groups. The dance choreographies were varied and creative. It mesmerized the audience. A felicitation song prepared Sir Govind Verma was sung by the students followed by Cake cutting by the Jubilarians. Both Jubilarians had the opportunity to speak; both of them expressed gratitude to all for making the day memorable and for their contribution to live their life amicably and amiably. The announcement of the winners of the dance competition was announced: Tyagaraj won the first prize, Bhatkhande the second and Rukmani, the third prize. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.Jenifer, the leader of the college. The celebration came to an end with the ambrosian meal.
