INTER-CULTURAL EXCHANGE

The students from Leuven University, Belgium had the opportunity to interact with the students of Nav Sadhana Kala Kendra, Varanasi in the M.A. Cottage on Jan. 26, 2016, at 11.00 a.m. The students of Kala Kendra taught the students of Belgium a few steps of the classical Bharatnatyam Dance, especially the Pushpanjali steps. The students of Belgium picked up easily and performed with enthusiasm and joy. They had also opportunity to interact with them to know about their educational method in Belgium, Europe; they listened to each other. The students of Belgium also performed their way of dance, which fascinated the students of Kala Kendra. Thus, all of them had appreciation for each other’s culture, dance and music. The session came to an end by 12.30 p.m. All were happy about their inter-cultural exchange programme.
