The students of Kala Kendra, college of Music and Dance, were divided into four groups. There was Inter Group Patriotic Song Competition in view of Indepenceday Celebrations on Aug 09, 2014 at Milan Hall in the college. The Principal and all the staff members were present for the same. The programme started sharp at 10.30 am. The Chair person of the organizing committee, Sir GovindVerma, welcoming the Principal, all the staff and the students,  read out  the procedure and  the rules and regulations for the competition. He specially welcomed Dr.B.P.Tiwari, Sir.Nicholas and Sr.AmitaKujur the honourable judges for the same. Thereafter the lot was taken by the Principal to decide the sequence of the singing competition. Ms.Suchita was given the responsibility of anchoring the ceremony. She did it very well.

Four groups namely Bhatkande, Rukmani, Tiyagaraj and Digambar did present their song very well. The Principal, Dr.Fr.V.Sebastian in his word of appreciation for the students said that this year the entire four group had   professionalism in their singing which was brought out well in the competition by the students with the help of the efficient teachers. Thus we had two second prizes in the competition. The students had put a lot of hard work in order to present their song well. The principal appreciated the students and thanked the staff for their skilled guidance. Thus the whole programme went on very well.
