Day of 65th Independence was well celebrated. The day began with Eucharistic Celebration by our Nav Sadhana priests staff Fr.Paul, Fr.Sebastian, Fr.Felix, Fr.Joseph and Fr.Domi MSFS. Beautiful and meaningful messages were delivered by Fr.Sebastian the main celebrant and Fr.Joseph in his homily. Loyalty and love for the Motherland was stressed.

At 8.30 we began the national celebration. The Chief Guest was Kernel P.K. Singh retired Major from Shivpur. He was solemnly brought with Guard of Honour to the place of Flag hoisting. After the National Anthem everyone entered the Milan hall for the short cultural programme. The students performed the items very well. Everyone appreciated. The chief guest gave the message of making India healthy and duty conscious. Everyone was served with snacks and Indian sweets.

The staff gives importance to the students self-discipline, punctuality and spiritual value education. The students are educated to appreciate Indian classical dance and music. The assemblies are creative  and artistic, reading of passages from Bible and Gita are encouraged, as well as thought for the day is a must. Fridays National Anthem is sung to instill in them love for the country. Students are given chances to prepare the assembly well, everyone participates so that stage fear is reduced. Wearing of uniform during class hours is stressed.

We thank God for His blessings showered upon us during these months. May He bless us during the forthcoming events of this academic year 2011-2012. Thank you.
