Beginning of academic year in the College of  Dance and Music in Nav Sadhana Kala Kendra was on 21st July 2012 in Milan Hall. “ Jeevan Denevale teri Jai Ho” was the schloka recited by our  Hindustani Vocal Students as the Deep was lighted .The students of B.A. Second year performed classical dance in Tamil,Shiv Shambho contemprory dance was performed bt the Third year B.A. Students. Choreography was done by the Bharatnatyam teachers of Kala Kendra Mr. K.Rajkumar and Mr.A. Robin.The audience applauded and appreciated these dances. The Chief guest Rt.Rev.Dr.Raphy Manjaly the President of the Kala Kendra encouraged the students to go ahead inspite of the fear spread in the society by corrupt practices, only the Music can bring inner peace to the people. Fr.V.Sebastian, the Director of Nav sadhana gave welcome speech and Mr.Dr.Bhuvaneshwar Tiwari thanked everyone present. On this occasion Dr.Ramashankar  of BHU university , professor of Sangeet academy demonstated his knowledge on Vocal Music for 45 minutes and inspired all those present.

Satrambh was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Rt.Rev. Dr.Raphy Manjaly, the Bishop of Varanasi and the Chairman of Nav Sadhana Kala Kendra. The function beganat 8.30 a.m.  with the morning Assembly. The Third Year B.A. students sang devotionally the Bhajan. Bishp Raphy spoke well on the leadership. He said, all are unique persons, God has given each one a talent, you have a unique talent of music and dance. Each one must make an sincere effort to develop this talent and become leaders. No man will make a  great leader who wants to do it all by himself, or to get all the credit for doing it.

Bishop Raphy then ontroduced the new staff members to the students and teachers. Fr.D.Sengole the new administrator, Fr. Rosline Raja, in charge of communication centre, Fr.Arvind Louis the Secretary in Seva Sadan office. The new teachers for Bharatnatyam Mr.K. Rajkumar, and Mr.A.Robin were also introduced. Fr.V. Sebastian the Director thanked Bishop Raphy for making himself available for this inaugural function.
