The College troupe has the pride of having performed in various parts of the country and abroad (Germany, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Kuwait etc.)
The dance items commenced with welcome dance by the students of Kala Kendra, followed by Asha ki Kirane to raise hope and joy in human life. A few classical and folk dances were performed. A dance drama on the parable of talents expressed need of ingenuity, innovative, diligence and discipline in using time and skills to improve quality of life. Two skits were presented portraying the concept of unity in diversity, religious harmony and cry of a girl child for life. Fr.Dr.V.Sebastian, Director of Nav Sadhana and Principal of Kala Kendra explained the concept of classical and sacred Bharatnatyam in his speech as well as expressed gratitude and appreciation to Rev.Fr.Louis Braggs, Principal for having given an opportunity of exposure and experience to the students of Kala Kendra. The program came to the conclusion with a vote of thanks. The anchoring of the program was done by Miss Prerana Srivastava, student of Kala Kendra exuding delight and joy.
The students of Kala Kendra won heart and accolade of the students, staff and principal of Jyoti Niketan for the scintillating and enthralling performance. Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ.
